Plain and plane are different searches
Say them aloud and they match. Type them and they do not. A plane game puts you in a cockpit. Plain asks you to name a number’s nearest neighbour, seven times, then stops.
The homophone
Plain is the spelling on playplain.app. Plane is the aircraft. Autocomplete often “corrects” a plain query into a flying game, a paper-plane toy, or a store listing that happens to use the word. The flight-simulator article is about aircraft models, physics, and training rigs. None of that is a 30-second naming round.
What to open if you wanted Plain
The puzzle is free in the browser at playplain.app. There is no native app; the install note is here. Rules, including the bit where your score is drawn as altitude, are on how to play. The altitude is a metaphor: 1 point is 10 metres, up to 10,000 m. You are not controlling a yoke.
What I am not doing on this page
I am not ranking flight games, and I am not linking a cockpit catalog. If the result you wanted is a board you can print, that is a third query, covered on plain game board. If you wanted the meaning of every “plain game” collision at once, use the meaning page.
Questions
Is Plain a flight simulator?
No. Height on the screen is the day’s score, at 10 metres per point. The public how-to-play page describes that scale.
Which spelling is the daily game?
Plain, at playplain.app. Plane is the aircraft spelling.
